I noticed a lot of you are chiming in on the BornFree giveaway saying you plan on having a Circus party, so I had to blog this. It is so ridiculously full of creative touches that won’t break the bank. I’m in love with it! Courtesy of Suzanne from Bebehblog.com.
Clown noses ordered from Oriental Trading Co, free circus font downloaded from internet, tablecloth is fabric from Joann’s
I tried to stick with my circus/carnival theme, which made munchy, snacky food a good option. Here’s what we ended up with:
Popcorn
Hot dogs
Soft pretzels
Cotton candy
Nachos
Animal crackers
Fruit
Salt water taffy
Rita’s Italian Ice
Cake
Jones Soda
Pink and Yellow Lemonade
…and a whole bunch of random candy I used as decoration rather than food.
Suzanne even set up a photo booth for all her guests to take some fun pictures, incorporating those clown noses and other props. What a cool memory for her son to look back on someday!
She did a great job spelling out all the details and telling where she got and how she made everything. To read about it and see a lot more pictures, check out her blog post about the decorations, another about the food, and one about the photo booth.

WOW! What an impressive set up. I think my favorite is the photo booth. It’s a great souvenir in a cute frame instead of goody bags (when little ones are too little to enjoy the loot). Or it’s a great idea to put in thank you cards.
Love the thank you card idea!
adorable!
Wow! This is adorable!! “Circus” is in the running for my son’s 4th…I think this just sealed the deal!! Great job Suzanne!
What a GREAT idea. So freaking cute!
